The Australian Outback is a strange and mysterious place. It stretches out for miles and miles of nothingness. Heading down the famous Stuart Highway that runs pretty much down the centre of Australia was at times like playing one of those old car games on the mega drive, where it’s just the same scenery repeated over and over… and then comes the oasis in the desert, the scenery that feels like you stepped onto another planet, the breathtaking secret paradise or just the jaw dropping reality of the harshness of life out here. We recently drove from Melbourne to Darwin, 7000km through the centre of this huge country. We have so much to write about and in the coming weeks and months we will be telling the stories of this wonderful journey each step of the way. But for now here are some of our highlights from this vast, unforgiving, wild, diverse and mesmerising place!
